Coating Equipment

Systec offers a wide range of coating equipment, varying from laboratory systems to large scale in-line coaters suitable for high-volume operation, where number of coated parts is measured in tens of thousands per day. Systec SVS posseses extensive know-how for virtually every type of PVD technology: sputtering (UBM, HIPIMS, DC, RF, MF), cathodic arc (random and steered, round and rectangular), e-beam evaporation and others. Each technology has proprietary ‘touch’ to it and is a product of years of development. In addition, these technologies are used in-house for daily production and development needs as well as offered as a part of the coating system. The company takes a special pride in offering coating machines loaded with advanced features.

The configuration of coaters can be varied to accommodate various deposition technologies and other requirements. The coating machines are offered with complete with the validated deposition technology and recipes, i.e.  fully prepared for the immediate operation upon installation. The technologies that we have mastered produce a number of advanced coatings, like NoveLC – a new generation of performance DLC coatings, decorative PVD coatings in brown, blue and other unique colors, lacquer-PVD-lacquer coatings on plastics to replace electroplating. In our development center in Karlstadt, Germany we work directly with the customers to assure that procured coaters will perform according to the customer specifications.

In addition to the standard coating machines, Systec excels in building customized coating equipment, where the deposition technology is specified by or developed together with the customer. In many cases we utilize enclosed manufacturing and assembly places to protect the confidentiality of customers data.
